Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax April 23rd, 2011
Finally! the bands are from L.A. and NYC but Europe got the first go around. So for us here in the U.S. we have to make sure we show them how its done right. After all the dust settles from the fakers and hipsters at coachella they bring out the big guns! on April 23rd 2011 Goldenvoice bring us Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer & Anthrax for the first time performing together in the U.S. Tickets go on sale this saturday at $100 & $200 for VIP whatever that means. the trailer is really awesome too! so be sure to check it out. you can find more info on their official site below.
These thrash band's were the bands I was listening to growing up, hanging with my dad and his friends as they reminised over beers, seeing them at house parties in the ghettos of Los Angeles. I know its going to be a great treat for Californians and whoever else is going to fly or drive down here to see history made. Considering most members of Slayer & Metallica grew up not to far from where I lived it always brought good feelings when the hometown metallers came around as they grew bigger and played for larger audiences around the world.
