South Central will once again be the place to be this weekend, Saturday Nov 16th. Outraged from San Jose/ Wattsonville will be performing at Perez tires. Rayos X, Ugly Heads, Pop Bottle Bombers (San Jose), Mal Paso & Feeble Bastard support. I should also mention the taco stand right outside the venue destroys all others. Be on the look out for more show at Perez Tires.

Damages West Coast Tour!

    Damages (Santa Ana) are about to rip a piece out of the West Coast. Make sure you check this band out! It's really good to see bands coming out of different parts of Southern California who can tear it up.  Pick up their debut 7" out soon on Damaging Noise Records, with a limited Silk Screened tour cover done by Abe Social (Silenzio Statico) . Ladyfest Los Angeles this weekend! Nov 8th 9th & 10th 2013

   This weekend Los Angeles will host another installment of Ladyfest. There will be Workshops, Vendors, Art & Food for all ages. The organizers have brought together some great talents, bringing in Sin Remedio for their final performance as a band. Also on the bill Destruye y huye who recently regrouped and have a 7" Ep coming out in the spring of 2014 on verdugo discos. Closing the weekends events would have to be Replica who have been leaving a mark all over the west coast.

Salvador One: Nameless in Life, Faceless in Death #1

The last year has been great for the punk community, not only are there tons of new bands coming out of alley ways left & right, you get more people coming to shows, more people throwing shows & people contributing to the scene. Here is a look through the eyes of a member of the Los Angeles punk community. Salvador shoots strictly 35mm & has a good eye for the real shit in plain sight that others won't notice. This first issue is limited to 50 so if you don't have one, chances are you outta luck. from what I heard, the next issue should be out soon. you can get these off of Sal for a few bucks, or if your nice a small donation. here are a few photos of his 1st release.

MATA MATA Benefit Matinee Show Sunday Feb 3rd

Sad Boys (NYC) Draptomania, West Coast tour January 3rd-6th 2013

Drapetomania & Sad Boys from New York City, who shared some dates on the East Coast a few months ago are currently hitting the West Coast for a two week tour. I was lucky enough to catch four of the shows, and were they worth it! Along the few days I got to catch them in Santa Ana, L.A., Oakland & San Francisco. These shows were really something special, I feel that it ignited a scene that has already been on the ups. Not to forget the rest of the awesome bands and experience I've included a few extra photos of the trip. Try to catch them in your city on the remaining dates and be sure to pick up the new Sad Boys 7" as well as Drapetomania's 2012 7".
