50% of Silversun Pickups @ the echo last night

So tonight was the best show of 2008 so far that I've been to. Brian Aubert lead vocalist of the Silversun Pickups supprised the Echo with an acoustic set opening for the Radar Brothers. It was a SSPU filled set including fan favorite & first hit single "Lazy Eye", "Well Thought Out Twinkies" & "Waste is On", it was super special when he invited Nikki Monnager (bass) to come up & sing a cover featured on there Pikul e.p. "Creation Lake" after a few other tracks from their 2006 album Carnavas, a fan requested a cover of Joy Division's Shadowplay & he pulled it off perfectly. At the end of that song he said he is not a fan of the Killers version & everybody applauded. After about 30 minutes of playing & a few little mess ups here & there he invited the lead singer of the Radar Brothers & finished his set with a song from the last Radar Brothers album. till next time sha lalalalalala.. tu tu tu tuto to to to Goodnite! J- see ya tomorrow. ; )
