Adelitas (PDX), Calafia Puta (Tijuana), Generacion Suicida, La Onda, Fraude @ L.A. Pyrate Punks Pad 07/28/12

Last night Los Angeles Pyrate Punks hosted a show that featured bands from Portland, OR (Adelitas)  down to Tijuana, Mex (Calafia Puta). The show was completed with locals Generacion Suicida, La Onda & still fresh Fraude. Adelitas is currently supporting a new LP that was released just yesterday, so you can call this a record release of sorts.

Fraude @ The Crash Pad

 Last night welcomed a new Thrash/Punk band to Los Angeles, "Fraude". Comprised of Albert Gamboa (guitar) & Daniel Diaz (drums) formerly of Hit Me Back (2002-2008). filling the low ends is ex Punch bassist Danny. Daniel Diaz brought his brother David to do vocals and he does them with with tons of enthusiasm & great energy. Their brand of thrash is reminiscent of Albert & Danny's old band HMB but with more experience and stronger bass lines, I see larger audiences and bigger pompadour's in this bands future. Expect to hear more from this band in the coming months as I'm sure they will grow to be regulars at local shows.

Royal Headache at the Blue Star Cafe: Video

Royal Headache was the headliner at the Blue Star Cafe, along with Chest Pain from Texas, The Shrine, Low Places and Merry Christmas. Royal Headache from Australia are touring the United States and made a stop at the Blue Star Cafe in downtown Los Angeles. It was a diverse lineup with many genres of music, whatever type of rock music you like it was played. From Power Violence to Punk. Below are videos of Royal Headache performing two songs.
